Electronics and Semiconductor Industry

A multifunctional lubricant for protecting sensitive electronic components

In the field of electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, pollution may affect equipment accuracy, operational reproducibility, and equipment lifespan. When used in vacuum pumps and clean rooms, high-performance lubricants help reduce the generation of pollutants and volatile gases in the manufacturing space of electronics and semiconductors. Thus increasing production while extending the service life of the equipment.

Multifunctional, high-temperature resistant, and corrosion-resistant lubricants (grease, lubricating oil, and vacuum pump oil) can also be used for various production line components, including:

  • Bearing
  • valve
  • Sealing element
  • O-ring
  • chain
  • compressor
  • transmission case

Mechanical pumps and other components

Hank high-performance lubricants can provide excellent safety protection for the electronic and semiconductor industries. This long-lasting lubricant and grease are commonly used in oil pumps, dry pumps, vacuum systems, cleanrooms, robot systems, and more. In these applications, Hanke high-performance lubricants have received unanimous recognition from major vacuum pump manufacturers and OEM equipment suppliers, meeting or exceeding warranty requirements.

High stability and safety lubricants for clean rooms

Hank high-performance lubricants can withstand extreme temperatures and pressures, surpassing hydrocarbon grease, silicon grease, and chlorofluorocarbon grease in this regard, providing a more stable working environment for sensitive electronic components.

Due to the inherent safety hazards of active chemicals and substances in semiconductors and electronic components, the use of lubricants that are not compatible with these semiconductors or electronic components can damage components. Hank high-performance lubricants have chemical and biological inertness, making them compatible with oxygen and almost non reactive with all chemicals, plastics, metals, and elastomers.

Hank lubricants not only exhibit stable and safe performance under harsh operating conditions, but also have a longer service life, so there is no need to frequently replenish lubricating oil for components.

Hanke high-performance lubricants also have other properties that are particularly suitable for the electronics and semiconductor industries, including:

Excellent vapor pressure, with vapor pressures as low as 10-13 mmHg in the temperature range of -15 ℃ to 300 ℃ (5 ℉ to 572 ℉)

It will not react with acidic or alkaline cleaning agents, disinfectants, steam, and water, thus preventing damage to components

Safe to use, free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or chlorine

Minimal Environmental Footprint - Renewable Lubricants

Compatible with commonly used chemicals in industry

Special Hanke lubricant

Hank (vacuum pump oil)

Hank can excel in areas where traditional vacuum pump oil can lead to safety, waste disposal, and maintenance issues. Hank's stability is quite high, which helps to reduce waste and maintenance related issues. It is non combustible and can reduce the risk of fire inside the pump.

In addition, Hank does not contain acetal groups, making it less susceptible to the influence of Lewis acid, a key element in semiconductor manufacturing. With these unique performances, Hank has gained widespread recognition from mainstream vacuum pump manufacturers.

Hank (low vapor pressure) lubricating grease

Hank grease does not explode, burn, decompose, or react to form colloidal or solid deposits, nor does it support combustion.
